The car Shows trad in at 16000. To buy one cost show 16000 to over18000. Yet when I go to a dealer, they only want to pay 8000? What is going on? All the ones for sale have much higher mileage than mine?

I used to drive a Scion xB 2006 which had over 200,000 miles on it I just kept up on maintenance and just replaced tires, brakes ran great should've kept it. A lot of room. I own a Scion IA now and have over 90,000 miles and just replaced the tires a week ago. Just been changing oil so far, everythings running tip top.

This car — a Mazda 2 that won car of the year in 2015 in Japan — is great fun to drive, it handles well and reminds some auto writers of a Miata. I tweaked mine with a sunroof, a K&N filter, and lower wider tires. I chose the 6 spd automatic and use it a lot as a manual. The gas mileage is great usually over 40 mpg on the highway. It’s the sedan version of the Mazda CX-3 as it’s on the same platform. Consumer Reports has named it best sub compact. I have had zero problems with it thus far. Drive one!
