Powertrains and performance
The base-level hybrid model has a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine along with two electric motors to deliver a combined 366 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The most powerful version of the Lexus TX is the TX550h+ which operates with a 3.5-liter V6 engine plus a plug-in hybrid system to create 404 horsepower. The TX550h+ comes with standard all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission. The new TX 500h F Sport Performance model can take Carlsbad and San Marcos drivers from zero to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. The TX Hybrid can tow up to 5,000 pounds when it's properly equipped.
