More colors – Cloudburst Gray is added to the list of exterior color choices on all models. The colors are Ultra-White, Caviar, Cloudburst Gray, Eminent White Pearl, Iridium, Matador Red Mica, Nightfall Mica, Grecian Water, and Nori Green Pearl. Copper Crest is now available on the Premium and F Sport Handling AWD.
More optional features to select from – New technology and convenience options were made available on more grades. Depending on your model, options include a power rear door with kick sensor and tow package, wireless charger, digital mirror, Traffic Jam Assist, and more. Numerous available interior and technology packages are optional.
More platform strength – The 2024 Lexus RX is now on a GA-K platform. The fifth-generation platform has a low center of gravity due to stronger metals like 1180 MPa steel for the roof and 2GPa steel for B-pillars. There is additional bracing throughout the vehicle, making it solid and safe. A multi-link suspension design is attached to the high-torsion rear body frame. This design produces consistent travel when accelerating, decelerating, and steering.
More legroom for rear passengers - The new GA-K platform allows ample legroom in the back seat.
More styling – The new GA-K platform also enabled Lexus to optimize the body’s proportions while maintaining sophistication and dynamism. The 2024 Lexus RX is more aerodynamic, which enhances handling.
More technology options – The 2024 Lexus RX 350 Premium is the first grade with the 14-inch touchscreen option. The RX 350 Premium+ is also available (optional) with a 10-inch head-up display in the Technology Package and the Mark Levinson 21-speaker audio system.
Enhanced engine options with plug-in hybrid addition – Lexus continues to ensure a powertrain option for everyone and that each powertrain is optimally designed to deliver the expected performance. There are four types of engines.
- RX 350 (FWD and AWD) – turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine with 275 horsepower, 317 pound-feet of torque, and an 8-speed shift
- RX 350h (AWD) – hybrid motor with 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a high-output nickel-metal hydride battery; has 246 horsepower and 233 pound-feet torque
- RX 450h+ (AWD) – hybrid engine enabling the first plug-in Lexus; hybrid motor with 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery; has a Level 1 vehicle-charging cable for 120V outlets, and all hybrid models have a J1772 (Type 1) socket for public and home charging; can be fully charged in approximately 2.5 hours
- RX 500h F Sport Performance (AWD) – hybrid motor with a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with 271 horsepower and a 6-speed automatic gearbox paired with a high-output, low-resistance nickel-metal hydride battery; total system produces 366 horsepower and 406 pound-feet torque
